Well, as the half-marathon looms closer, I decided I better get to running more. On Tuesday, my personal trainer decided that we would do some interval training on the treadmill rather than our normal stuff. Let's just say I thought I was going to die. I never take the speed up above 6, just because I never feel like I can. His plan was to run minute intervals on speeds between 8 and 9. My legs have never gone so fast, and I don't think they are made to. It felt great at the end though.
Yesterday, I forced my husband to run with me. We had a route planned, but was unsure of the distance. Ended up running 5 miles with a 10:40 pace. I definitely felt that the interval training the night before helped me to run faster. Great run, except I twisted my ankle about mile 3 and had to run with the pain. Thankfully, it doesn't hurt today.
On another note, I am really starting to hate the hot flashes from Clomid. They come out of the middle of nowhere and are awful. No longer irritable, though. Round 2 of the ICI starts very soon.
See you next run.
