So, needless to say, it has been almost 2 weeks since my last run. I have a valid reason for not running, but it doesn't make my half-marathon training any easier. My husband and I went to see our parents for a few days. Both of us took our running clothes, but we were instead greeted with anywhere from 10-20 inches of snow. Long story short, my first run since then was on Monday evening with my husband. We decided to try a little bit of a longer run down a new road we found. I managed to run 6 miles, but the course was not easy. It always felt uphill (yes, I know I live in FL, but there were hills). Plus, it was so boring. Overall, good run though. Tonight we decided to try about 3 miles through the neighborhood. Just not my day to run. Couldn't quite get the feel of it, plus my right shoulder felt super tight and tense. With the half-marathon looming a little over 6 weeks away, I am not sure I'm going to be able to do it. Guess I better train harder.
On another note, we started Clomid round 2 this week. Praying I don't get more hot flashes and gain weight again.
See you soon.
